New summer show to bring West End stars and dinosaurs to Trafford Centre

A NEW summer show is bringing K-pop, West End stars, and dinosaurs to a shopping centre.

The Trafford Centre has announced Live@TC, a family-friendly festival featuring music, live entertainment, and immersive experiences.

The event will take place under a big top on the shopping centre’s overflow car park opposite John Lewis from June 13-14 and June 20-21.

Simon Layton, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing a huge, family-focused live event to Trafford Centre.

“Live@TC has been designed with families at its heart, combining showstopping performances, kid-friendly activities, and a festival-style atmosphere, to create a truly memorable experience for visitors of all ages.”

Each day features a full schedule of live shows, fairground rides, face painting, character appearances, food, and drink.

There will be two shows on June 13, 14, and 20, with a single extended show on June 21.

Tickets are priced at £40 per person plus a booking fee, with under 2s admitted free of charge.

VIP tickets are available for £80 plus a booking fee and include fast-track entry, private seating, waited service, and access to a private bar.

The festival opens on Saturday, June 13 with a morning show running from 11am to 3pm (doors open at 10am) and an evening show from 5pm to 8pm (doors open at 4pm).

The opening night will feature K-pop Superstars, along with children’s TV favourites, Bluey and Bingo from the hit Bluey show.

The K-pop Superstars segment pays tribute to global icons such as BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, and K-pop Demon Hunters with dynamic choreography, costumes, and vocals.

Bluey and Bingo will appear alongside TV presenters Sid Sloan and Katy Ashworth from I Can Cook!, as well as Evie and Joanna from Get Moving, and Andy Day.

On Sunday, June 14, West End Live@TC will take the stage for two shows, from 1pm to 4pm (doors open at 12pm) and 6pm to 9pm (doors open at 5pm).

This musical theatre celebration will feature songs from classics such as Wicked, SIX, The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, and The Phantom of the Opera.

The cast includes Collabro, Lucie Jones (Les Misérables, Wicked), John Owen-Jones (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables), Rob Houchen (South Pacific, Les Misérables), Kayleigh McKnight (Six the Musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), and Joanne Clifton (Hairspray, Shrek the Musical).

Saturday, June 20 will feature Jurassic Earth and another K-pop Superstars set.

Jurassic Earth is a live dinosaur show featuring Velociraptors, Triceratops, the world’s largest walking T. rex, and dinosaur babies.

Families can expect an interactive performance led by Ranger Danger, an eccentric doctor, and a team of rangers.

Sunday, June 21 is dedicated to country music, with a show running from 2pm to 10pm (doors open at 12pm).

Country Music Live@TC will feature performances by Nathan Carter, Kezia Gill, Twinnie, Janet Devlin, Harleymoon Kemp, and more.

In addition to the main stage entertainment, visitors can enjoy fairground rides, a silent disco, character appearances, and a wide selection of food and drink.

Tickets went on pre-sale for Trafford Centre Pulse Rewards customers on February 27, and were released for general sale on March 2.
